Four Wheel Drive Vehicles on the Beach
Driving a four-wheel drive is permitted on the beach, as long as a permit is obtained. (See fee table below.)
Applicants should present a valid driver’s license, auto registration and proof of insurance.
Permit holders must follow rules and regulations of permit.
How awesome is it that you can drive your vehicle on Brigantine beaches with a permit (see links for info). So load up the family and park your 4 wheel vehicle on the beach for the day. So grab the beach chairs, bucket and shovel and take the whole family to the beach for some fun.
4 Wheel Drive Permits go on sale December 1st at the Brigantine Beach Community Center located on 42nd Street.
Driving a four-wheel drive is permitted on the beach, as long as a permit is obtained. (See fee table below). Permits will now be valid from January till December. Permit holders must follow rules and regulations of permit. Permanently Disabled persons need to provide documentation with proof of permanent disability (Social Security Administration Award Letter) to receive discount. Veterans must provide their DD214 or proper Military Identification. For information regarding permits please call 609-264-7350 Ext. 1. Applicants should present a valid driver’s license, auto registration and proof of insurance.
All discounted permits will require the applicant’s registration, insurance and driver’s license to reflect the same name and address.
All Terrain Vehicles (ATVs) are not permitted on the beach. Drive, All Wheel Drive Vehicles do not qualify for a permit. Vehicles MUST be Four Wheel Drive:
